Civilian History:

I know virtually nothing of the bikes civilian history. However, from documentation this GB spent some of its civilian life in Northamptonshire.

It was acquired for the collection in March 2006 in a completely dismantled state. At some point in its life, someone had altered it to semi trials trim with no lighting and much of the WD equipment removed and lost.

Given the above, it was decided to “model” this machine on one of the very last variants of the B40GB, with single seat and up swept short stubby silencer. To enhance its “special” look, it is the only bike in the collection that is not painted to represent its Military heritage.

In the family, this bike is affectionately known as Trooper.
